Stately solid 18K yellow Gold Byzantine style Cross with an oval cut 0.40 ct. faceted Ruby or Sapphire or Emerald stone in the center, augmented by decorative granulation and wirework.  Highly polished finish along the edge, this piece is given further depth by rope-twist wirework and a hand hammered finish on the inner bed.  

Showcasing the fine granulation detail and exalting the precious stone at its heart, this rich combination of textures features a repeated motif of threes, for the Holy Trinity.
