Based in the US,  Ellinon Kosmima: Jewelry of the Greeks offers through its online store: Melikos, a wide variety of authentic Greek jewelry. All these carefully curated pieces--mostly in 14K/18K gold or in gold/silver--are directly sourced from over 20 talented goldsmiths & silversmiths in Greece: from Thessaloniki to Irakleion, Crete, but mostly in Athens.

Jewelry collections range from exquisite, gold Byzantine jewelry  to trademarked Designs by Melikos™.  However, the specialty of Melikos is the rich collection of nearly 300 unique Greek baptismal and ornamental cross pendants as well as unusual high end Orthodox jewelry, e.g. rings, cufflinks, etc.

Born in Alexandria, Egypt to Greek parents from her beloved Aegean island of Lesvos, Maria is the creator of Ellinon Kosmima. Always with a strong passion for Greek history, language, culture & traditions, she has been merchandising Greek made jewelry for over 40+ years at the annual festivals of nearly 50 Greek-American Orthodox parishes (from Miami to Seattle & from Phoenix to Washington, DC) . Festival participation ended in the Fall of 2022.

    

All orders to North America, UK, Asia and Australia are fulfilled from the US. For orders to EU countries, please contact us before ordering. Popular gold crosses (and matching chains) are usually in stock. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of gold, inventory is extremely limited--even at the respective artisan's workshop in Greece. Therefore, to ensure availability for baptisms and weddings, it is advised that planning start at least one month in advance of the sacrament date.

Still, as part of the customer service ethos of Ellinon Kosmima, every effort is made to ship out-of-stock items within three weeks of order placement.
