Based in the US,  Ellinon Kosmima: Jewelry of the Greeks offers, through its www.melikos.com online store, various collections of authentic Greek jewelry. All these carefully curated pieces--mostly in 14K/18K gold or in gold/silver--are sourced directly from over twenty talented goldsmiths & silversmiths in Greece; from Thessaloniki to Irakleion, Crete, but mostly in Athens.

These collections range from exquisite, gold Byzantine jewelry  to trademarked Designs by Melikos™.

Our specialty are the nearly 300 unique Greek baptismal and ornamental cross pendants as well as unusual high end Orthodox jewelry, e.g. rings, cufflinks, etc.

Maria, the creator of Ellinon Kosmima, has 35 years experience merchandising Greek made jewelry—always with a strong passion for Greek history, language, culture & traditions—at the Annual Festivals of nearly 50 Greek-American Orthodox parishes all over the US: from Miami to Seattle and from Phoenix to Washington, DC. Festival participation ended in the Fall of 2022.

    

 All orders to the US, Canada and Australia are fulfilled from the US. Popular gold crosses are usually in stock. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of gold, inventory is extremely limited--even at the respective artisan's workshop in Greece. However, as part of the customer service ethos of Ellinon Kosmima, every effort is made to ship out-of-stock items within three weeks of order placement.

Please note: for baptisms and weddings, please start planning two months in advance of the sacrament date.
