Alpha Chi Rho Omega Gold Pendant

A solid 14K yellow Gold Pendant with a rendering of a unique ancient Christogram in Greek letters: Christ is the Αλφα (Alpha, the Beginning), and the Ωμεγα (Omega, the End).

The first two letters for Christ in Greek (ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ), that is "Chi" and "Rho", are superimposed as it was the customary writing in Byzantine iconography. The background is etched with the writing highly polished in bas relief.

The back of this pendant showcases a lovingly hand-etched Christ holding the gospels in his left hand and the right hand giving a blessing. The letters "IC" stand for the first and last letters of the word Ιησους (Jesus) and the letters "XC" stand for the first and last letters of the word Χριστος (Christ).
